Circumcision " That knife touches my baby over your dead body!"

Circomcision, why is this brutal act perpetrated on an infant not included as male genitile mutilation? Please dont get diffensive! Of course, of course cocks are beautiful both ways. But people say circomcision is more cleanly then they add that it is more aesthetic. So if noses went out of style we could say "they are messy" and if ears were considered no longer a handsome fashion statement...then at the birth of a baby we would just say "get rid of those things too along with the foreskinn.."
two different Latina women I heard of said what I would say..." you touch my baby with that knife over my dead body!!!!" How can we humans justify such brutal practices upon the diffenceless? While we are robbing a baby of part of their body we are congratulating our family! We connect the worst things we do to God and the Divine.
And to "Help " the baby through this unnesessary devastating trauma in which all the relatives are there smiling and condoning torture and agreeing that something about the baby is bad and must be removed... to make matters worse we give the baby an alcohol rag to suck on which makes him stop screaming and pass out and comforts everyone els cause he cant cry even if he's been overdosed he's been gagged!
Why not let every man choose? People say "because it would be a much bigger deal and hurt much more when he's older" That is so illogical...babies senses are hundreds of time more alert and sensitive than adults. Everything that happens in the first few years shapes our psyche and relationship to life. We wonder why there is such a strong connection in the world between violence + sex + alchoholism??? Because we make sure that equation is made from day one!
If your having a baby please reconsider putting your tiny boys penis to the guillitine. JUst dont do it! Let every one be mad at you. You can handle it much more that the baby can handle brutality to their most sensative life giving sacred jewels!. If you know of some one about to give birth and you feel the way i do please speak up! The babys cant diffend themselves! Who will speak for them? Be willing to have a heated discussion in which your friend is irate...because they may well be guilty of not thinking...not feeling....and going along with custom without even examining if they have awakened conscience on the matter.
Many women don't want to do it but their men pressure them, and then religion threatens to kick us out of our clan if we don't comply. You see this is also a feminist issue. If we want a world with more receptive men we can't train them from the moment of birth to "be callous! Buck up! Try not too feel!" we wonder why boys hurt each other so much on the school yard? Birth trauma has to be worked out. But gentle birth supports the feeling of security and peaceful power....peaceful safe pleasureful sensuality to all baby boys from now on! Mark my words, Circomscision perpetrated on a minor will become illegal as natural women's birth wisdom comes back! We need to be as loyal to family and determined as elephants on this! Love Eve
